We were here October 16-20, 20. A very nice and clean house. We were warmly received. The breakfast was varied and good. We have not regretted the stay. Unfortunately, the rooms are very badly soundproofed, so only four ?.

Very clean and spacious rooms, at a good price. Very quiet location, gladly again.

We were a few days in Gasthaus Thien we felt very comfortable. We had a double room with a balcony just beautiful, and very clean. Very friendly staff. We'd love to come back again. Lg to the Thien family, and always a full house for the future. ❤❤❤???

Great place to stay, we had a nice room, good breakfast and ample parking. Friendly staff, delicious food and a cozy place in the beer garden on the Dortmund-Ems Canal.

Brunchen bei Thien. Great selection, crispy rolls and lots of delicious cheese and ham, sausage and fish platters, fruit salad, desserts and a great beef soup for lunch. It doesn't get any better

Nice big clean rooms, parking lot also suitable for larger vehicles. Breakfast tasty and sufficient. Operator friendly. A walk along the canal is possible.

Hotel complex old and new. I had booked the new part. Be careful when booking, as there is a price difference. The single room with shower / toilet was in a great condition. In the adjacent restaurant you can eat very good home-style.

I only award one star to the Gasthaus Thien. The hotel can be recommended. Rooms are big and as far as clean. Breakfast was ok too. INDEED.... Big minus for the staff and the owner (senior). For a big celebration, such as birthday or wedding, they are not suitable because the staff is unfriendly. You feel uncomfortable and unwanted. And longer than 22 o'clock you can not seem to celebrate?!? Strange.

The location is good, the rooms are ok. But I just would not advise anyone to do a celebration there. The staff is very rude, bossy, outrageous and xenophobic. You get right away, that you are not very welcome and as soon as possible to go again. It's a pity, because it's not cheap either. Absolutely not recommended.
